Everyone feels a great pressure to conform. They feel they have to be paired off with someone. Just because your best friend has chosen one career it doesn't follow that the same career is right for you. Just because they married in their mid-twenties and you're still single at 30 doesn't mean you're an outcast. We're all individuals intended to live our own lives not someone else's. Never be afraid to go against the grain. Have courage and you'll find what's right for you.

I was in the same boat up until last year. I found the perfect man when I stopped looking (I know thats what every1 says). Take up night classes, go to singles nights (they're not all full of sad cases!) Realise that you dont NEED a man but there could be one around the corner so keep smiling in case you bump right into him. :)

I've been married 11 years and love my husband dearly, but, yes the grass is always greener. I would love to have the bed to myself. It gets very annoying to always have to share, trust me.

if i could do the "fill the gap" thing it would probably be easier...my genetic make-up seems to proclude this..lol....I'm looking for a relationship then...i suppose...

we are all in the same boat. im quite happy alone then that lul sets in. its called the grass is greener and when you have someone you want your own space. you havnt said if your looking for a full on relationship it might be hard to find someone just to fill that gap.
