Good decision! When I used to work for a small firm I used to sit in on interviews and by god there would be luggage under some people's eyes from the heavy nights!You'd know straight away to not give them another second consideration. If they gave you the chance to reschedule..good job!

I actually can't believe there is someone out there that gets to the second round interview, and ruins their chances by going out the night before. I don't care if its your hen party, you shouldn't drink the night before an interview...well that's if you actually wanted the job in the first place!!

Clown - in this day and age there are a lot of people who want that job. If you can't even treat the interview process with respect, I can't see how you are the right candidate for the job. Hopefully a more deserving candidate won out.

Hate to say it but karma just may bite you in the ass...and seriously I really don't know what it is with people and going out the night before an interview, or a girl I work with who has started and really wants to impress my boss...but she's going about it the wrong way!!!! Don't go out the night before an interview, even if it's your birthday...that's only if you really want the job!!
