My friend has never spoken about a guy without saying he is/was in love with her. She's pretty and nice but I have hotter friends, nicer friends and smarter friends none of whom would claim to have a 100% record of men falling in love with them.
It annoys the hell out of me
She might be "needy" or a complete psychopath when she does meet someone who falls for her.

I work with someone like that, you'd think by not making eye contact during a conversation or not giving any input would imply that I don't care but she clearly is so self obsessed she just carries on. If I put a cardboard cut out of myself beside her I don't think she'd notice and just carry on talking about herself and how many broken hearts she has caused.

On the projection front I am not sure that could really be applied less to me... I'm the opposite. I'm never completely convinced they even like me never mind love.
Although you have made me question if the reason it annoys me so much is because I envy her and her unerring self confidence, I probably do a bit.

Be blunt and say 'No he doesn't' or 'didn't you say that __ & _____ & ____ loved you aswell'

Did you know that pretty much anything you find annoying about other people is actually what you find annoying about yourself. It's called projection. You can't face it so you project it onto others. So why do you think everyone is in love with you?

I have a friend who is exactly the same, just except her for it, we all have flaws...If she is a good loyal friend that's all that counts at the end of the day.

What you have to say is important. Write it here. Thanks.
