Sometimes I wish....
...my girlfriend would just feck off and stop annoying me. She literally wants to hang out with me 24/7 and it's costing us our relationship. I wish she would just find some hobbies or re-connect with her friends which she abandoned to be with me, which I warned her not to. Sometimes I think of ways to break up with her gently so that she can go off, learn some lessons about how to not destroy love or maybe go travelling and explore herself and then if we are meant to be we can hang out when we're on the same page. I wouldn't expect her to come running back into my arms either, if she meets someone, that's fine as long as she's happy and as a result I'm happy lol

I understand how you feel mate. My boyf of 7 yrs is pretty similar. Just tell her you both need to do your own thing, whether ye are still in a relationship or not. I have spent the last yr (and will continue to spend more time) getting back the freedom I lost during my relationship and trying to help him get is. At some stage we will need a break and I am pushing for an open relationship now. All thats important is that we are both happy.

You want to be part of a persons life, not their WHOLE life.... you need to sit her down and explain this to her...be ready for tears and "you dont really love me" yadda yadda yadda....
your still with this girl bcos you feel sorry for her-do the right thing and break up with her before u end up breaking her heart..

If you love her, maybe you need to tell her to "feck off" (though in a much, much more tactful way!), so that she can become the person you think she could be. You have said that she currently knows "how to destroy love", and has abandoned her friends...not good things obviously. She's waaay too dependent on you. Surely love is two independent people wanting to be together?
