what is the deal with irish boys??
I am an aussie girl that has been living dublin for a few months now and still cant figure out irish boys. I find them so fusturating.

I'm an English guy who has been in Ireland for 15 years and my favourite cooment about Irish guys comes from the comedian Brendan Carroll who, in the role of Mrs Browne, once said: "I have six children. And a daughter." There you go. And bear in mind - no-one sticks there head above the parapet in Ireland. It is a remarkably conservative and conformist place. If you are looking for confident, easy-going males you are definitely in the wrong place.
None of us can figure them out girl... or any man for that matter....I'm American and Irish been home for 5 yrs. now... and I say....' they have nothing on the mean streets of NYC... for breaking hearts.... God help us all lol...
No offense! But are you in love with him? :-). It seems to me you like someone Irish but can't really stand when he is fooling around and frustrates you, right?
I'm French and i love my Irish man. Much more than the previous French ones ;)
Irish men grow up much more slowly than men from other countries, and are permanently attached to their mothers apron strings. They also take things in relationships much slower... whatever time it takes to get to a certain point in a relationship anywhere else, double it for Ireland. find yourself a nice French or Italian or something.

Irish men like women who respect them self's and they dot like all that i love me crap. So you's out there that couldnt get a good Irish man then tour wrong look around you hun! Irish men love a good personality a girl who knows to have fun and dont like open 24 hour woman. i love my Irish man

I from the UK and have been living in Ireland for the last 10 years. I also work voluntary with kids and noticed that from a young age Irish boys are pampered, have everything done for them by their mothers and have no independence.Socially when they grow up they are only funny when they have a drink, in fact they only seem to consider having a good time if it involves alcohol
irish boys are easy to figure out just do as we want ha ha ha its easy ha
I dont find irish men are attractive. they don't look after themselves well, Only mammies dress and eye hawking at them.
Hey I am an Irish guy and cant figure out Irish women. I cant figure out Irish guys either. It could be an Irish thing. Go figure. Maybe you just havn't met me yet.
WHY...!!!!!! it is SO hard to get through to men...its like trying 2 read braille with boxing gloves on ..IMPOSSIBLE ... lol !!!x.... And ...how is that men can hit a 2" target at 100 yards with a 22 rifle, yet they cannot hit the toilet from three feet in the air?..... why do men snore when they sleep on their backs?.. because their balls drop over their assholes and block the airway to the brain...
You might be driving them away- Aussies outside Oz don't realise how loudly they speak (it's shouting to everyone else). Roaring your head off is not an attractive trait in males or females.

hello...dont diss irish boys...they have wicked sense of humour and great on a night out...and im not just saying it cos im irish..lived in england and their mummys boys...
When you meet that right one you'll just know it.. different nationalities may look for different things just like starsigns seem to differ. Find out what frustrates you about your experiences and perhaps try meeting guys in different types of places... Irish men are not all the same and I think they are natural gems who can laugh and make you laugh and not all drink themselves into an oblivion!! Try again..
you don't understand them i've known em all my life and don't understand them. think the only thing to do is polar opposite of what you think they want you to do ... despair they name is "irish man" ha ha ha

bloody hell , people are people ! even if you went out with 100 irish guys doenst mean they are all the same ! jeez ! this is discrimination ! i will admit our society is gone down the drain and most people are scumbags , knackers sluts and children but there is still alot of decent people , you will find assholes immature assholes everywhere and dublin is not the best place to look by the way
Irish guys are the BEST! I've gone out with guys from France, America and Italy, and honest to God, I've never found anything as good as a proper Irish man... Not nearly as pervy as the Italians, not as sensitive as the French, not as bloody annoying as the Americans =)

Theres a lot of ranting and giving out here. I'm a "boy" good looking fit and all but would say im shy at approachings girls, simply because i find it difficult to tlk rubbish to a girl for a night, Which i might add ye lap it up when guys do.
Yes most are stupid when it comes to women. they drink far too much booze. and dont know the concept of dating. but find a good one and hes the salt of the earth. (hard to find thou)

Me too! Living in Ireland for 2 years and I found out that I don't know how to date an irish boy... I really think they r great but still can't go any further.
Some of us are quality.
Find an Irishman who's lived abroad. Once you get them away from their Mammies, they grow up.

Typical girls, never happy..... on the contrary, I would never knock Irish women and Ive been living abroad for the last 5 years, theyre great and have a sense of humour second to none. Yea, I also can't stand Irish guys. My experience of them is they are cowards. Go for a German or an English.

Irish men are USELESS. They are only good as mates or drinking buddies. If you're looking for a relationship forgetaboutit. But still they are a MILLION times better than Aussie men who are ignorant, chauvinist pigs :)
Irish boys are just that, boys.
Irish men are great! They are so funny when you eventually get their sense of humour. Alot of Irish men are just kind of shy and use sarcasm and humour to cover it up. We should never put our own race down there are good bad and ugly men in every race ....not just Ireland.
